If you’re newly engaged and looking for a barn venue to host your wedding… first of all CONGRATULATIONS and second of all, you have come to the right place.

We recently visited Wedding Barn at Lakota Farm and it was amazing! Kimberly and her husband, Alan purchased the barn and invested their heart & soul into it – and the end product shows. It has the rustic barn feel but with upgraded-chic touches that make this venue a diamond in the rough. Only 21 miles from Saratoga Springs, makes this a fun destination location for local and visiting guests.

Getting Ready Space– Kimberly’s previous experience in the hospitality field helped with creating the “bridal suite” and knowing exactly what couples need when it comes to morning preparations. Their on-site “bridal suite” is a massive 4-roomed space that has a full vanity for hair & makeup, a spa room, a giant dressing space (with the coolest mirror and vintage couches- I want it for my house) and a kitchenette area where you can have food catered. Full of bright natural light and a private entrance makes this an easy space for for brides, grooms and their parties to get ready for the day’s festivities.

They also have a “man cave” cabin where the groom and his guy’s can hang out before the ceremony! Seriously, Kimberly and Alan thought of everything.

Ceremony – the 1,000-acre property has multiple locations to host your on-site ceremony. Whether Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter your ceremony will be picture perfect. They even have a horse-drawn carriage to “wow” your guests as you pull up to ceremony!

Cocktail Hour – On the ground level of the barn is the cocktail hour space. There is a built-in gorgeous wood barn and wood tables constructed from reclaimed beams (no need to bring in additional table rentals). Your guests can spill out onto the lawn area where you can host outdoor games and a lemonade & ice tea station!

Reception – Guests travel upstairs to the main floor of the barn where dinner & dancing can take place.  The barn can accomodate 250 guests with tables and mahogany chivari chairs (again no need to rent additional tables). Your guests can eat off antique mismatched, plateware and glassware & flatware supplied by the venue. Kim found a gorgeous chandelier at an auction and had to have it! She placed it right above the dance floor as a perfect centerpiece to the room. End the night under the stars with s’mores at the bonfire – this venue has it all!
