Happy Valentine's Day, folks! I keep thinking how crazy this snowfall is and hoping that anyone getting married today or this weekend is doing so without a hitch! It makes me think of one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies…Father of the Bride (1991) when Howard, the assistant to the wedding planner says, “Thank GOD snow is white; it works!” Hah!

For a very fun and light post today, I'm recommending three lovely movies to watch while you're snowed in with your Valentine!

First, yeah, you guessed it…Father of the Bride! You already know I LOVE this movie, but it's taken on a new meaning now that I'm a bride! I have avery special relationship with my Dad and I know we're going to be all sorts of emotional in A MONTH FROM TODAY! Yup, we're that close!

Second, more of a holiday movie, but I love it just the same–Love Actually. There are so many moments in this movie that make my heart melt, but this one always gets me. Holy moly, I'm tearing up just thinking about it!

Last, another classic, Sleepless in Seattle. Whenever Sam talks about his wife and when both he and Annie say “magic” at the same time. It's a winner. Plus, there's a tie into Valentine's Day AND wedding planning! Such a great movie.

I'm just getting over a nasty cold, but my Valentine has been treating me very well and making me lots of tea and soup (see below–isn't he the best?). I'm a lucky girl, indeed.
