Happy Valentine's Week, blog followers! We all know Valentine's Day can be super cheesy and overhyped, but as a woman who loves love, I have always enjoyed it. Even when I was single! In honor of the “week of love,” I wanted to share some unique and creative gifts that go beyond the standard flowers and candy (not that those things are bad–I enjoy both)!
For the fellas, I'm particularly keen on this first idea. A good shave kit is tough to come by and, more often than not, is really expensive. Enter Harry's–with a tag line of “Great Shave. Fair Price. Simple.” Harry's is changing the face (hah!) of shaving. The company is all about giving back and providing a great product that is durable and accessible. The use high-grade steel to manufacture the razors in their German factory. Plus, a portion of your purchase is donated to organizations that promote personal and professional success.
For anyone–your friend, Mom, sister, nephew..I love, love, love the ceramic wares from MB Art Studios. From plates to ornaments to cheese boards, mb art studios creates handmade ceramic ware with quotes and sayings to inspire and motivate. Plus, they look really cool!
Last (but not least), a gift idea for the ladies. I'm a sentimental person at heart, so I really love the idea of commemorating important dates as a couple and as a family. The day of your first date, the day you got engaged, your wedding anniversary, etc. I found this idea on etsy and I absolutely love it! This is just one example, but I there are many iterations available online. I think this project could be DIY'd, too, if you have the time!
I hope you've found this post to be helpful in the days before Valentine's Day! What is the best Valentine's Day present you've receieved?! Let me know in the comments!
