Happy Monday, friends! It's so nice to see the sunshine (finally)! Today we have a summery wedding Trends post for you to set off the week! We're talking about picnic trends for weddings! Grab your picnic basket, your dress, your rings, and let's go!
Historic Barns of Nipmoose: These barns are amazing! Restored in 2001 through the work of the Persistence Foundation, the Barns of Nipmoose are pristine examples of historic agricultural landscapes in the northeast. Dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, the barns reflect the immigrant-argcultural architecture (Scottish, German, etc.). I think they're an incredible and romantic venue, too! Tiffany Wayne captured this gorgeous photo of the barns! Wow, right?!
John Boyd Thacher State Park: With stunning views of the Helderberg Escarpment, Thacher State Park has several large picnic areas that are great for a more informal, laid back affair. I love this image from a 2008 Elario wedding at Thacher Park!
Tablescapes: So many fun options when it comes to a “picnic” wedding! I love this image from the Revel blog!
And this wedding from Simply Bloom Photography! So elegant!
And this South Carolina wedding from Mary Dougherty Photography! OMG. Swoon!
Would you consider having a relaxed, outdoor, “picnic” wedding (if so, you know Katie O' Weddings and Events can help with that, right?!)? Let's talk about it in the comments!
Keep sparkling–
