It's Monday again…and we're talking Trends (again)! So many of my clients have guests who travel from out of town for their wedding or event. As a result, I've noticed that it's increasingly common to provide a welcome bag for guests. It's a nice gesture to not only thank folks for travelng, but to also acclimate them to the area or schedule of events for the weekend. Is this required? Not at all. But it's super thoughtful and very much appreciated by weary travelers.
Check out some of these welcome bags from past Katie O' Weddings!
Melissa and Jerome held their Saratoga wedding at Saratoga National Golf Course. As a result, Saratoga and golf were a theme of their welcome bags. So fun! Note the local products they included and the map, too!
I love this welcome bag or, well, box–such a great presentation for a California wedding! A note from the bride and groom is a sweet, personal touch, too.
There was a baseball / city theme to this November 2011 event…the tote bag was adorable and reusable for the guests! What a fun way for your guests to remember your anniversary!
Have you considered putting together a welcome bag for your wedding or event? Does a welcome bag interest you but you're not sure what to include or worried you don't have the time to put them together? I can help with that!
